I learned that using some rather unrepeatable words and threatening to get frisky with another players mother is how people 'trash talk' these days.
I'm sorry, I can't help myself. I never hold back when I value someone.

I'm afraid it's not a contest in sophistication. You are a quick learner. Something else we have in common.
You never really seem to hold back at all. I enjoy that.

While I could never trash talk in a manner like that, I feel I more than held my own when that rude young man implied things about my own mother. did we ever manage to track him down? I still owe him a visit.
Holding back is a hindrance more often than not.

Of course I tracked him down for you, my friend. I shall deliver him as soon as I can.
I agree. There doesn't seem to be much reason to.

you're a good one, Ed. How did I live without you?
I think the less we hold back, the more we achieve.

I can be stolen or given away and you will live, yet you cannot live without me.

Don't worry about it, my dear friend.
The answer is yours even so.

I'll work it out eventually, you watch.
So when do you get home anyway?

I'll wait with anticipation.
I am finishing up. What do you want for dinner?

Chinese? Can we justify having that again?
Cooking is just so much effort.

You have literally never cooked a day in your life. Is it so much effort to watch me cook?

Sometimes, yes. You make it very technical, I get a headache.

You're as good to me as always, Ed.
You could cook tomorrow. Maybe I'll watch and learn something.

Learn why you've been avoiding cooking for so long?
I do enjoy it. It's like science.

It's nice to remember why I pay others to do it. I have no idea what the appeal is but I like how you do it.
Too bad it's so much work.

I find it very rewarding to treat the ones I care for.
Including myself, I suppose.

I don't believe in making the same mistake twice.
To be accurate, I don't believe in making any mistakes.

Love isn't always a mistake.
Though, as you say, it's a weakness. I suppose it's not likely you'd want to give yourself a target like that.

I would very much not want to do that, no.
But I know we have a different stance on this. I just hope you can find someone worthy.

No, I understand your thinking myself now. I realise I was naive to believe I could have both.
I am happy as I am. Alone. The only person I ever truly loved is dead regardless. It's out of my hands.
